Coach Training and Development
Whether you’re a parent whose child plays at the club, a grandparent or someone looking to give back to the community, we are always looking for coaches to come and help support our club.
We actively assist both our new, incoming coaches and our more experienced ones as required. Investing in our coaches means that we are investing in our players development.
And that’s a top priority here at Allstars.
We have a dedicated Coaching Convenors at the club. They perform a variety of functions including:
- Supporting our coaches and answering any coaching queries they may have
- Seeking and implementing education courses and practical training for coaches throughout the season
- Acting as a support person and/or mentor coaches during Saturday games and weekday training sessions
What we offer our coaches:
- A strong committee always willing to assist if/when needed
- We have dedicated coaching convenors to assist and speak with
- Before the season, education sessions are offered with a netball coaching expert
- Access to an online coaching program for drills and tips
- Coaches bag, club netball & water carrier supplied for the season
- Enjoyment in coaching young people to improve and be their very best
- The RNA will offer coaching courses throughout the season, and attendance to these are encouraged
Important Information for Coaches
Training is at the Allstars courts, Wellington Point.
Saturday games are at the RNA, Pinklands Sporting Complex, Thornlands.
To be a coach you will need to obtain the following prior to the season starting:
